Wednesday, July 21, from 5:30-6:30pm
Thursday, July 22, from 5:30-6:30pm
Wednesday, July 28, from 8:00-9:00am (day of event)

The sessions should last about one hour and will be held in Windsor Lounge on the Stephens College campus. Windsor Lounge is located in Stamper Commons on the southeast corner of College and Broadway. Parking is free and available on surrounding streets and in visitor lots around campus.

Training is strongly encouraged because of the one-on-one nature of the event. You will also have the chance to meet fellow volunteers and get more information about the location and the day of the event.

The event serves as a single access point for homeless individuals and families to receive assistance, resources and services. Last year’s event in Columbia provided over 800 services to more than 80 homeless individuals and families.

Our theme again this year is “One Day. One Stop. One Community!” Project Homeless Connect relies on the participation of community members as service providers and volunteers. We are currently looking for service providers and volunteers for this year’s event. Click here to Contact Us!

With the help of over 100 volunteers we were able to serve more than 82 participants throughout the day. We had a great time meeting all of the volunteers including a fabulous group of stylists from St. Louis and a whole crowd of Commerce Bank employees!

We understand that your schedule is busy, just come to an orientation at 8:30 a.m. on Friday (morning and all-day shifts), or a noon orientation (afternoon shift) on Friday.

Morning and all-day volunteers can check in starting at 9:00 a.m. and afternoon volunteers can check in starting at noon. You will be able to leave your t-shirt with us at check out to be recycled for next year.
