Service Providers
We need Service Providers for our upcoming event!
Service Providers are essential to Project Homeless Connect! The 2009 Project Homeless Connect Columbia/Boone County provided a total of 814 services to homeless individuals and families in attendance. Services provided included access to social security, showers, health screenings, health care, mental health screenings, legal advice, employment counseling, housing, library access, haircuts, massage, clothing, identification cards, birth certificates, transportation, bus passes, and much more. Every service provider surveyed at the end of the event said they would participate in a future PHC event and many commented on the “caring community atmosphere” that was felt throughout the day.
